Interior architect Patrycja Boniuk selected a cement-style natural limestone for this luxury bathroom.
Gris Alborán is a dolomitic limestone with a beautiful mink grey colour atomised by small black particles. Its remarkable homogeneity and particular granulometry make it visually close to the aesthetics of cement.
Enveloping effect thanks to the reduction of joints
As we can see in the images, large panels of Gris Alborán have been used for the bathroom flooring and cladding. With this, we have generated an enveloping effect that has also reduced the number of joints to the maximum in favour of uniformity.
A cement-style, large-format natural limestone
To achieve this composition, we have used the Stonesize SSHA solution on the walls, consisting of a thin layer of natural stone, Alboran Grey, reinforced by an aluminium honeycomb core. The Stonesize technology confers to the final assembly extreme lightness and excellent resistance to compression and bending of these large pieces. The result is a large format cement-style natural limestone that provides beauty, design, and functionality in addition to lightness and resistance.
